Lauren is loving her new on-air job at American Family Radio co-hosting mornings with John Riley. AFR has been family to her since her start in radio 15 years ago, so she is in hog heaven and feels she's come home. Lauren is re-locating back to Nashville, TN and will be broadcasting the morning show from there in the Fall. Since retiring from the Fish Morning Show in Los Angeles Lauren has been speaking on both coasts and spending precious time with her Dad, family and friends. Living in CA and Mississippi has been quite a gift, but the Lord seems to be leading her back to her roots. Lauren still has her LA home and will continue speaking wherever she is called. Lauren says these days continue to be ones of tremendous healing, growth and learning to live for eternity as never before, missing her Mom so deeply & rejoicing in knowing she will see her again and that will be the most amazing day to be imagined.

Lauren received undergraduate degrees in Music and Communications from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK and her Master’s Degree in Communications from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. Currently she is contemplating completing her PHD.

Her 16 year background in Media includes hosting a Morning Show on the Family Channel, TV News Reporting and on-air radio shows for Salem Radio Network, Clear Channel Communications, Sony Worldwide and American Family Radio.

Lauren cherishes her role as college professor. She taught full time in the School Of Communications at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville,TN for 3 precious years and was an adjunct Prof. in the Communications Dept. at Azusa Pacific University in California.

Lauren was runner-up to Miss Mississippi America and Miss Mississippi USA. She was also Top 10 Miss Virginia America in the dark ages. (smile)

Lauren began her life in the same town as Elvis and in the same town as the best catfish you can put in your mouth....Tupelo, Mississippi. She said her first word at 6 months of age (honest engine)...and hasn't stopped since, says her Dad.

Lauren is a miracle baby and only child who loves to laugh hard, eat sweets, make funny noises & gestures and give big bear hugs. She adores her friends as the siblings she never had. Thank goodness for her 30 first cousins. Her inner circle and balcony family are such a gift from God into her life.

Lauren does not believe in acquaintances. She tries to get to the core of every soul she meets. One of her goals in life is to let folks know just how special they are. No matter what their shoe-size, pocketbook size or size of their britches. She has 5 dogs, 3 cats, and a fish. And would have more if there were room in the barn and her Pop would not blow his lid.

Lauren appeared as a repeated guest on Politically Incorrect, received The Arvella Schuller Award from the Crystal Cathedral and hosted TBN with John Tesh. She can currently be seen in several national commercials and is blessed to have a tomorrow everyday.
